Home assessment
Laura has a certification in aging-in-place (CAPS), and has performed home safety assessments for 30 years.
A comprehensive home assessment can:
- Identify real and potential hazards
- Identify unsafe practices
- Identify needed adaptive equipment and home modifications
- Assist with determining the proper amount of assistance needed in the home
A comprehensive home assessment would be appropriate for:
- Older adults newly released from the hospital or rehabilitation center that are not having in-home nursing/therapy services
- Older adults that have started falling or becoming injured
- Older adults that might not be setting up their medications appropriately
- Older adults with physical or cognitive changes
Let us help you age safely at home!
Recommendations can range from simple home repairs and economical adaptive equipment to consultations with architects and interior designers that are CAPS certified.
